About the NFL 2024 Season
On May 16th, 2024 the NFL has unveiled NFL 2024 regular-season schedule. The National Football League season 2024 is scheduled to start on September 5, 2024 and conclude on January 5, 2025. In the released NFL schedule, we see Green Bay at Philadelphia on September 6 playing an international game in Sao Paolo that would be the first ever NFL regular season matchup played in Brazil, South America. Another first time thing in league history, Christmas Day will feature two games on December 25th falls on a Wednesday, and the NFL has scheduled two matchups for the holiday: Kansas City at Pittsburgh and Baltimore at Houston.
The season will continue for 18 weeks. Each of the 32 NFL teams in the divisions plays 17 games and has one “bye week”. Each team plays the other three teams in its division twice, one game against each of the four teams from a division in its own conference, one game against each of the four teams from a division in the other conference, and one game against each of the remaining two teams in its conference that finished in the same position in their divisions the previous season (e.g., the team that finished fourth in its division would play all three other teams in its conference).
